Mill Gate introduces the Real Living Wage

Mill Gate currently partner with Aston Services Group Ltd  for security and cleaning services as well as the supply of the maintenance team, which previously sat under two separate service contracts.
 
Building upon the relationship and happy with the service delivery, Graham Bentley, Deputy Centre Manager worked closely with Aston in 2023 and proposed to package the provision of the Security (including Customer Services), Cleaning (including Washroom services) and Maintenance services into one TFM style contract, extending out to April 2026 and implementing the Real Living Wage.

The Real Living Wage was introduced on 01 January 2024 for all members of the Aston team.
 
This arrangement has had the full support of the Mill Gate’s JV landlords Bury Council and Bruntwood, together with the managing agent Munroe K, who are huge advocates of the real living wage. This collective agreement and ongoing close working relationship has allowed the Mill Gate to support our greatest asset, our people! Paying our team the real living wage will enable us to retain the fantastic colleagues we have and continue to attract the best possible candidates in the future.
