Jurassic Journey awaits visitors Mill Gate Shopping Centre this summer

Mill Gate Shopping Centre will have some very special guests to entertain and excite younger visitors during the summer holidays.

Dinosaur fans are urged to make a Jurassic Journey into the Bury centre, where they will find seven prehistoric beasts including a Tyrannosaurus Rex standing nearly three metres tall!

The dinos will be carefully placed around the shopping centre from July 21 until September 4 and families will be able to follow a trail to find them in this fabulous free event.

Centre manager Angela Tierney said: “The dinos are fantastic and they’ll provide a great way to entertain children during the six-week holiday. Dust off your safari hat and magnifying glass and come along - we'll see you there!”

Besides the terrifying T-Rex, other dino favourites will include a Velociraptor, Stegosaurus and Diplodocus.

Mill Gate Shopping Centre opens from 9am to 5.30pm every day apart from Sundays (10.30am-4.30pm).
